The Verde Valley Joint Replacement
Center offers a wellness-oriented orthopaedic joint replacement service
for healthy individuals needing hip or knee surgery.
When medication, ice packs, diet and exercise have done all they can do,
replacement surgery is a viable alternative to suffering the pain of
osteoarthritis. Joint replacement relieves pain and improves mobility of
the joint.
Program features:
• Team of specially trained professionals
• Detailed patient education
• Pre-hospital home visit for safety evaluation
• Pre-hospital visit by physical therapist to begin rehabilitation
education
• Hospital admittance the night before surgery to become comfortable
with the unit and its caring atmosphere
• Continuing education about surgery and recovery expectations
• Recovery on a dedicated unit sharing meals, activities and
rehabilitation with other joint replacement patients.
The Verde Valley Joint Replacement Center presents monthly seminars on
Hip and Knee Pain.
