Patient and Family Support
To help patients and families cope
with the emotional and practical problems associated with cancer, we
offer the following services:
Individual and family counseling
Counseling helps manage depression,
anxiety, grief and fear. Relaxation, interactive guided imagery and
hypnotherapy services also are available.
Support groups
General and cancer specific support
groups for patients, family and friends provide guidance and hope from
others who have experienced the diagnosis of cancer.
Support groups provide cancer
patients and families with a loving, safe environment to share their
experience.
Breast Cancer Support Group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
of each month from noon - 1 p.m. in the Breast Cancer Resource Center, Flagstaff campus.
All groups meet at the cancer center. For more

Circle of Friends
This program is for newly diagnosed cancer patients. Circle of Friends
is a one-on-one peer support program that connects patients with
experienced cancer survivors who act as a resource and offer support
during and after the treatment process.Volunteers are
cancer survivors who:
have successfully completed
cancer treatment
have a positive outlook about
their cancer experience
are willing to share their time
with newly diagnosed patients
attend training sessions
keep patient information shared
confidential
